The Purple Bag Invite was founded by the brain trust of Adam Christenson, Ryan Dell, Lee Kessler, Jordan Kline, Kevin Schwan, Brandon Smid and Dr. Landon Weber. These founders operate today as, The Board.

The Purple Bag Invite, albeit rich in history, has no benefit to society, and that tradition continues to this day.

First time that the course was changed the day of the event.

First appearance of a 1 Hole playoff to decide the fate of the Purple Jacket
This is the greatest tournament that no one has heard of. Just as it should be.
2023
We got our second two time champion motivating the field to step up their game.
Plead your case for a favorable handicap with the board and hope they see it your way. Otherwise, plan on betting on someone other than yourself in the calcutta.
2024
The Falls fell. The rains forced a relocation an hour or so North to Watertown. Waters rose and so did everyone's game. The irony is deep with this one.
